Nutritional Counseling is provided at ACMC by registered, licensed dietitians. Nutritional sessions include an initial visit of 60 minutes, and follow-up visits are scheduled as necessary. A physician’s referral is required.

The counseling session begins with a thorough diet/activity history from the patient. A nutrition assessment is then completed. Together the patient and dietitian design a plan/pattern that fits the patient’s lifestyle. Goals are set for nutrition intervention and follow-up.

• Failure to thrive
• Renal failure
• Pediatrics
• Weight loss
• Other services: label reading, recipe modification, food preparation and meal selection away from home

Nutrition Services is staffed by Registered Licensed Dietitians, who are certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed through the Ohio Board of Dietetics.
